         Hello!

I'm Federica, a maker of whimsical things, a lover of calm countryside days, and the heart behind this little creative world. From cheerful pouches to illustrated stationery and story-filled patterns, each piece I create is designed to bring a little joy to everyday life.

When I'm not working in my studio, you'll usually find me pottering in the garden, exploring quaint villages, spending time with horses, enjoying countryside walks with my family or snuggling on the sofa with my cats. I love filling our home with handmade touches and little bits of colourful cosiness and there's almost always a creative project nearby... a basket of yarn, some paints or clay, a half-finished make or yet another crafty new idea waiting impatiently for its turn.

Where it all began

From a young age, I discovered the joy and calming magic of making things. My creativity was passed down from my mum, who was a master at everything she set her hands to,  a true inspiration and the spark behind my love for handmade.

As a child, I could happily spend hours, or even whole days, drawing. It was my favourite way to unwind and I guess that's how I found out how much creativity can be grounding and comforting. As I grew older, life became busier with friends, school and long days spent at the stables, but I would still find little moments of creativity whenever I could. One day I might be sketching plans for my dream stable yard (it even had a name btw... "the poplars"!), another day painting something for my bedroom, making salt dough creations or filling my diary with drawings, stickers and colourful bits and pieces.

Looking back, I think I was always making something.

Finding my style

Moving  to the UK from Italy, where I was born and raised, marked the beginning of a new chapter in my creative journey. I found myself drawn to the charm of English countryside living... cosy cottages, patchwork quilts, village gardens and all the little handmade details that make a house feel like a home.

Before long, fabric and thread completely stole my heart (along with most of my money and spare time!), opening the door to a whole new world of patchwork, quilting, doll making and handmade creativity.

A dream I never expected

I started sharing my makes on my blog many years ago, simply as a little creative diary and as a way to connect with like-minded souls. Back then, creativity was something I squeezed into evenings and weekends around my full-time job, never imagining that one day it might become my work.

Slowly, people began asking if they could bring some of my creations into their own homes, and what started as a happy hobby gradually and organically grew into a small creative business.

Today, my days are filled with stitching, sketching, illustrating, designing and creating all sorts of whimsical things... from patchwork pouches to sewing patterns, from stationery and colouring books to all the new little worlds still waiting to be explored.

Inspired by nature

Nature and the calmness of countryside life inspire me endlessly… foxgloves in the woods, roses climbing around old gates or a peaceful stroll along a winding village lane. I’m always drawn to gentle muted colours, soft textures and that sweet blend of nostalgia and simplicity that feels to me like a very warm hug!

My cosy studio

My studio is a cosy, colour-filled room full of fabric stacks, twinkly lights, thread spools, sketchbooks and always a cat curled up nearby. It's a colourful, creative mess (and I wouldn’t have it any other way!). I love creating surrounded by the sound of the wind in the trees and peeking out of the window to spot the occasional roe deer passing by. I feel so grateful to have this little sanctuary just for myself... a quiet, inspiring space where new ideas bloom every day.

I hope each piece brings a sprinkle of joy to your days.
